It’s always nice to receive some recognition, which is why we were delighted to find out that we had been named as finalists for ‘Family Business of the Year’, ‘Manufacturer of the Year’, Growing Business of the Year’ and ‘Large Business of the Year’ at the Red Rose Awards ‘17.
We were finalists in all four categories we entered so it really brightened up an otherwise grey Monday when we heard the news!
Joint Managing Director, Nazir Remtulla commented, “As a business that puts Quality Manufacturing at the heart of everything we do, we’re made up to have been shortlisted in the final six of what we’re sure will prove to be four immensely competitive categories. Being finalists in four categories is an achievement and reflection on the hard work everyone at Laila’s has put in over the past 12 months.”
Amongst many familiar faces at the judging panels held at Ewood Park, Blackburn, we were also happy to see one of the amazing local charities we work with, Blackpool Carers Association, listed amongst the finalists in the ‘Not-for profit’ category.
The winners of the award will be announced at a prestigious event at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens in March. We’re looking forward to joining all of the other finalists for what is sure to be a great night no matter the final verdict.
