We are delighted to announce that our Purchasing Director, Natasha Beaver has been announced as a Finalist in the Buyer of the Year section at the 2018 BFFF (British Frozen Food Federation) People Awards.
Natasha has been involved with Laila’s Fine Foods for over 10 years joining the family business from High Street fashion retailer Matalan, and in that time she has transformed the company’s procurement department with passion, dedication and persistence. With extensive experience in the food production industry, Natasha is an advocate for the importance of building long-lasting and sustainable supplier relationships and leads a small team to ensure the business can meet the needs of a growing production schedule whilst maintaining margins.
Natasha comments on the award, “I am flattered to receive this recognition on behalf of the purchasing team here at Laila’s Fine Foods. They are incredibly hard working and we all focus on our role as a responsible and caring company as we continually look for ways not only to source the best quality ingredients at the right prices but to improve how we impact and interact with our suppliers, many of whom are local, family-run businesses like ours.”
