The Job

As Hygiene Manager you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of site hygiene standards plus ensure hygiene processes are followed and verify the control of these processes through testing and analysis.

You will train and motivate a talented hygiene team, work closely with the Quality department by ensuring housekeeping is correctly implemented and ensure all cleaning equipment and chemicals are kept secured, maintained and well stocked.

As a key member of the HACCP team, you will work closely with site management to ensure the hygiene function is audit ready, improve standards where possible plus manage the waste and pest control services.

Your Experience

We are seeking a highly organised and positive individual with a solid track record of working in a hygiene capacity within the food manufacturing industry, preferably within chilled foods.

This role would suit someone who is looking for a step up in their career and work for a business which can invest in their ingoing development.

You will have hygiene team leading, supervisory or management experience and good knowledge of food safety, HACCP, BRC and food hygiene requirements.

Further related qualifications i.e. Level 3 Food Hygiene, NEBOSH, COSHH, IOSH etc. are highly desirable.

More Details

The Hygiene Manager job is based in the Deeside region and is paying c. £25,000; however, this is negotiable according to individual skills and previous experience.

The working hours are 00:00 until 08:00 on a shift patter on one week Sunday – Friday and the following week Monday – Friday.
