Laila’s Looking to Recruit up to 40 new Staff

One of the Fylde Coast’s largest employers is looking to recruit up to 40 new workers.

Bispham-based ready meals manufacturer, Laila’s Fine Foods’ factory currently employs more than 380 Fylde residents at it’s 63,000 sq ft site and produces a range of chilled and frozen ready meals for leading food service and retail customers.

The business is trying to fill a range of roles, including team leaders and production operatives as they build up for the opening of a new 36,000 sq ft factory extension following an increase in demand from its customers which include some of the UK’s biggest supermarket chains, such as Iceland and Lidl.

There are various types of roles available at the site, varying from administrative jobs, portioning products to packing finished goods and preparing/cooking ingredients.  Various shift patterns are also on offer such as a rotating day shift of 07:00 – 15:00, followed by 15:00 – Finish, ‘twilight’ shift which requires staff working five evenings a week and even permanent nights.
