The Opportunity

The HR team here at Laila’s Fine Foods is responsible for advising managers and employees at all levels about HR policies and procedure implementation to ensure that consistency is delivered throughout the site for both process and outcomes.

You’ll work closely with the wider HR team in areas such as operator level recruitment, disciplinary and grievance processes, you will also promote employee wellbeing initiatives and use KPI data to identify trends and patterns to support business decisions.

The successful candidate will also be required to proactively manage absences on site working closely with the Occupational Health in order to reduce absence. In your role of HR Advisor, you will also be facilitating the employee on-boarding process all the way from screening candidates, through to appointment and induction.

The Candidate

You’ll be the first port of call for enquiries from employees, prospective employees and managers, therefore strong communication skills are essential.

You will have previous HR experience, preferably in a FMCG or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must be qualified to at least CIPD Level 3 or equivalent, with sound generalist HR experience and knowledge of current HR & Payroll legislation.

Previous experience working in a Fast Moving Manufacturing environment would be ideal.
